Oral History and Metadata Standards

As will surprise precisely no one who came to our session at OHA2012, I’d like us to consider an exploration of core metadata elements and controlled vocabularies for describing oral history.  I think this may dovetail with the discussion on the “unit of analysis” of digital oral history.

    Yes. How can we do this without reinventing or duplicating existing tools (e.g., Oral History Cataloging manual, etc).

    I’m also interested in putting effort into building stronger networks between oral history (metadata) practitioners, librarians, archivists, digital humanists.
